This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are used on haiori.com, why they are used, and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data more generally.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. Cookies allow a site to remember your actions and preferences between page views and visits. Similar technologies — such as local storage — work the same way and are treated identically in this policy.
Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by another domain, such as an analytics provider, are called third-party cookies.
2. Our consent model
We use only two kinds of cookies: those strictly necessary for the site to function and to record your consent, and analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used.
Strictly necessary cookies are set without consent, as permitted by Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive and Romanian Law no. 506/2004. No analytics cookie or script is loaded before you give consent. When you first visit the site, a banner asks you to accept or reject analytics cookies; until you make a choice, only the strictly necessary cookie is used. Rejecting analytics cookies does not restrict any part of the website.
We do not use advertising, marketing, retargeting or social-media tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share cookie data with advertising networks.

Analytics cookies are set only after you accept the analytics category. If analytics is not enabled on this site, or if you reject it, the _ga and _ga_<container> cookies are never created.
Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, may additionally set a strictly necessary cookie to detect and block malicious traffic. Such a cookie contains no information that identifies you personally and is used only for security purposes.
4. What the categories mean
Strictly necessary. Required for the website to work and to respect your privacy choices. They cannot be switched off, because without them the site cannot remember whether you consented.
Analytics. Help us see, in aggregate, which pages are read, how visitors arrive, and where the site can be improved. Data is collected through Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation and without advertising features. These cookies are optional and are used only with your consent.
5. Changing or withdrawing your consent
You can change your mind at any time:
- Use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of any page. This reopens the consent banner, where you can enable or disable the analytics category and save your new choice.
- Withdrawing consent stops any further collection through analytics cookies. Cookies already stored can be removed from your browser as described below.
Your choice is recorded for 6 months, after which we ask again.
6. Controlling cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and set your browser to warn you before a cookie is stored. Blocking all cookies may affect how this and other websites behave. Instructions for the most common browsers:

7. Third-party information
The analytics cookies described above are set by Google. Information about how Google processes data on behalf of website operators is available in Google’s privacy policy and in its description of how data is used by sites that use Google services.
8. Legal basis and your rights
Placing non-essential cookies is based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and art. 4¹ of Law no. 506/2004). Strictly necessary cookies rely on our legitimate interest in providing a functioning and secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Your rights over the personal data collected through cookies — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent — and the right to lodge a complaint with ANSPDCP are described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to this policy
We update this policy whenever we add, remove or change a cookie. The inventory above reflects the cookies in use at the date shown at the top of this page.
